HEALTHY SNACK IDEAS FOR KIDS
Every mom is aware of the nightmare they have to go through when it comes to feeding a toddler. Toddlers are intelligent yet stubborn little humans who want things done their way, which means no fruits or veggies they dislike. Practically they dislike all high nutrients filled snacks but ‘Theadorablebaby’ has come up with a mommy hack: homemade healthy snacks for school.
Being a full-time mom, one has to fulfill mommy chef duties. Feeding a toddler what you want is always a difficult task to achieve. A lot of women have complained that preparing snacks of a toddler’s choice has lead to malnutrition. After a lot of experimenting with flavourful and healthy ingredients, I came across ways to sneak fiber in my toddler’s meal. I came across several healthy and wholesome recipes to fill my toddler’s tummy which I would like to share with all the other mothers on my blog. The best thing about these recipes is that they take very less time to be prepared and can be prepared with the help of your toddlers as well, even better!
START A SCHEDULE:
Healthy eating is essential for a toddler. Since they have just started to grow, they will develop taste according to what looks appealing to them. Unfortunately, there is something about healthy fruits and veggies that do not attract toddlers at all. This does not mean mothers should stop feeding them with healthy snacks rather make those snacks look so striking that your toddler reaches out for it himself. Make up a schedule of what to serve on weekdays and on weekends. You can provide sweet treats on weekends so that your child won’t expect it every day. The schedule will lower the risk of exceeding your toddler’s expectation of what he wants on his plate.
NEVER CROSS THE LIMITS
There are some limitations when it comes to preparing snacks for your little ones. First of all, never serve food rich in sugar, salt, and fat. This will make their body get used to the intake which will cause trouble in the future. Secondly, always go for small portions or variety of food so that your child doesn’t get bored or stuffed.
